       SEPTEMBER 2022 UPDATES!

I know two different bear families that alternate back and forth, like a timeshare arrangement. I took a quick trip to Atlanta in May and when I got back, Big Mama and her family had moved on and Little Mama's family had arrived. I've been friends with Little Mama for years now; she had two small cubs a few years ago that you can see in the last section of pictures. Little Mama is a very smart and sweet bear and she made a lot of friends here this summer. Here are some new pics of my friend Little Mama!

Little Mama's cubs are still around, though they don't stop by as often as she does. I think she is pregnant again now; she has gotten a lot wider this year. Her cubs are a lot bigger and I have named them. This one is Angel. She's very sweet but painfully shy. She's the only one that runs more than a few feet away from me. It is hard to get close-ups of her for that reason, but here are a few of my adorable friend Angel!

I haven't seen the other cub for a while; I think Little Mama might have chased him away from my place. Those grapes are for her! He's a beautiful bear, big and furry with no collar. I want to hug him! He's a lot less shy than his sister, but he runs away very fast if he gets scared. I named him Sugar or Sugar Bear because he is so sweet!
